October, 2009 CALL FOR PROPOSALS The fifth biennial Alberta Early Years conference will look at childhood and the journey of change it represents to children and their families. Research demonstrates that early supports to families with young children are vital to children’s health and development. This conference will examine best practice, research and application of strategies in the area of early child development. WHEN: October 4, 5, 6, 2010WHERE: Marriott at River Cree Resort, Enoch , Alberta (a 4 star hotel and conference centre 5 minutes from Edmonton, Alberta's West Edmonton Mall)AUDIENCE: This conference will be of interest to practitioners and professionals who support the development of children at-risk and with varied abilities from the age of birth to six years.
